Project controls questions
What are construction project controls?
Project controls are the weekly habits and tools that track cost, schedule, labor, changes, quality, and turnover against the plan, so problems show up while they are still small. PRC sets them up on your projects and gives you two dashboards that show the results on one page.
What does the program cost?
The consultation is free. Pricing depends on the tier (how many projects) and the number of months, with a three-month minimum. We confirm it in a follow-up email with the order form.
Can we start in the middle of a project?
Yes. Set-up can be completed at any stage of the project, and most teams start on a job that is already running.
What software do we need?
Microsoft Excel for the templates and dashboards, and Zoom for the workshops. PRC works from your P6 schedule; you don’t need new project software.
Who should attend the workshops?
Up to 5 people per program, usually the project manager, project engineer, project administrator, and a field leader. More attendees can be added by agreement.
Is this the same as the PRC Academy?
No. The Academy trains people across many topics. The Project Controls Program sets up project controls on your live projects and trains your team to run them. Many teams start here and add the Academy later.
